I am a clinical psychologist (M.Sc) and licensed psychotherapist (Psy.D), specialized in early chronic traumatization. I have extensive training in various methods (Person-centered Psychotherapy, Cognitive behavioral Therapy, Group dynamics, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy & EMDR. While I was living in the US (2010-2014) I expanded my knowledge into the field of neuroscience and more specifically, Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB).

I am a certified psychotherapy supervisor and trainer for the Dutch Association for Person-Centered psychotherapists and for the Dutch Association for Psychotherapy. For many years, I also teach psychotherapy, and trauma assessment, diagnosis and treatment at various postdoctoral trainings throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.
